Sporting Excellence Group is a sports development platform for young people aged between 10 and 18 which teaches its athletes the fundamental attributes and skills required by elite sports men and women.
At SEG we recruit our athletes from those young people recommended to us by our network of schools, grass roots clubs and professional academies. Those young people selected receive the highest quality coaching, mentoring and guidance led by coaches and players who have coached and/or played at the pinnacle of their respective sports: Football led by Steve Kember (Chelsea, Leicester and Crystal Palace); Cricket led by Mark Butcher (England and Surrey); and Rugby led by Mike Friday (England, USA and Kenya 7s, Wasps, Harlequins and Blackheath).
SEG takes great pride in developing and nurturing individual talent. We provide exceptional expertise across all of our three sports with the aim of enabling our athletes to play their chosen sports at the highest level he or she can.
